Changshu Southeast Development Zone of Jiangsu Province (abbreviated as “CSDZ” in the following text) is located in the southeast of Changshu. On May 7th, 2003, it’s approved to be a provincial level development zone by Jiangsu Provincial People’s Government.
Distinct Industry Characteristics & Strong Industry Basis --- With strategic location and strong industry basis, Changshu Southeast Development Zone gives priorities to the development of electronic information industry, precision machinery industry, auto spare parts industry and tertiery industry. According to the function positioning and industry structures of each section in the zone, CSDZ has built several characteristic industrial parks, such as electronic information industrial park, auto spare parts park, science and technology industrial park, Southeast Technology Park, etc.
Well-equipped Basic Infrastructure & Supplementary Life Facilities --- The basic infrastructures like electricity, water, steam, natural gas, telecommunication, sewage treatment, etc. have been built for industrial use. Southeast International Life Community including commercial centre, logistic centre, high grade residential buildings, relaxing centre, etc. is under construction now.
Rich Human Resource --- Changshu Institute of Science & Technology is only 8 minutes drive away from CSDZ. And Changshu Vocational Traing School is located within CSDZ. It’s the largest vocational education base in Jiangsu Province, with the advanced teaching facilities and beautiful campus. With more than 15,000 trainees in six departments (Mechanical Dept., Electronics Dept., Information Engineering Dept., International Trade Dept., etc.), it supplies sufficient technical labor force of excellent qualification to the enterprises in CSDZ.
Changshu Institute of Science & Technology and Changshu Vocational Training School totally output over 6000 graduates. And CSDZ has also built human resource supply channels with other organizations to guarantee the human resource supply to the enterprises in the zone.
